Chosen Place:Greenhouse No longer in use On GVSU Campus
Define Your Chosen Place: Old Greenhouse that is fairly large and is now being used for storage.
Define Your Problem: It is a waste of valuable space as it currently sits.
What it is: Expanding a question you have about the place
- Why is it not in use?
- Why is it now a storage shed?
- Why can't we use it to grow food for students?
Why is this a genuine question or problem for you?
- This space could be used to benefit and teach others, it seems like a big waist to me.
Why is the question or problem likely to be relevant to others?
- Proper use of this facility could benefit the whole GVSU community.
Why does the questions or problem matter in regards to significant issues related to our understanding of the chosen place?
- It draws into question the use of the space
Why is the question or problem important? why should this problem be solved, and how could this problem be solved?
- It is a waste of valuable space. If it were used to produce fresh fruits and vegies we could provide fresh food to students and staff in need. We could also educate people on gardening.
