For my project I decided to focus on a greenhouse on campus that is not in use and is being used for storage instead. Personally I think it is a waist of space and resources, and I chose that as my issue for this project.
My first postcard "The More The Merrier." I used repetition to try and convey my thought that we could use more greenhouses/green spaces. I also used repetition to allude to the fact that we may need more air conditioning units in the future because of global temperature increases.
My second postcard focuses on how I see the space as cut off. I replaced the windows with cement to give it a closed feeling. I also chose a bright color and discrete texture to make it a little unsettling. I also chose this color because it reminds me of ultraviolet light which is used to grow plants indoors.
For my final postcard I chose to show what could be. Though this greenhouse would be better used for food production, it was easier to fill it with flowers. I decided to make the colors faded to show it is an idea and not a reality. Though I hope that one day in the future we can use it for education and food production instead of storage. This image is my edited version, I will post my original bellow my concept map.
